TEACHER RESOURCES
The OSU Extension 4-H office provides a variety of education tools and resources for teachers. One of the benefits of a Habitat Education Site is that it provides local community organizations, agencies, and individuals the opportunity to get involved and support schools and children. Community Outreach is an important part of the process for creating, using and sustaining Habitat Education Sites on school grounds.
Education Tools for Teachers: Curriculum, education standards, guidelines for working with youth outside and more.
Funding and Grant Opportunities: use this site to learn about funding and grant opportunities to fund your project.
Education Kits for Check Out: 4-H offers a variety of education kits that teachers and 4-H volunteers can check out for up to two weeks. These kits are available to teachers from 4H Member Schools only. Schools not located in the Portland area should contact their local Extension office to inquire about education kits available at their office.
